FEATURES
ePOSS Contact Management ePOSS provides a unique set of functions for contact management. Our contact management system can import contact data from ACT, the leading industry contact management system. Additionally, ePOSS provides specific enhancements to support the management of employees, customers, and vendors.
ePOSS Check-Out Management ePOSS provides all of the standard functionality of an advanced cash-register system.
ePOSS Cash Management Managing cash on the sales floor is supported by the ePOSS system through a comprehensive set of features such as Cash In, Cash Drop, Cash Paid In, Cash Paid Out, X-Report, Z-Report, and more.
ePOSS Merchandise Receiving The ePOSS Merchandise Receiving subsystem lets you manage merchandise deliveries at each location through Scanning Received Merchandise, Error Handling and Reporting, Closing Purchase Orders, and Merchandise Receiving Reports.
ePOSS Inventory Management The ePOSS Inventory Management subsystem lets the sales force manage, update, and report on inventory from the system on the sales floor.
ePOSS Purchase-Order Management The ePOSS Purchase-Order Management subsystem lets the sales force manage, update, and report on the status of purchase orders from the system on the sales floor.
ePOSS Time-Clock Management ePOSS provides a comprehensive set of time-clock management capabilities from the sales floor.
ePOSS Security Management ePOSS operates in a strong security mode from the sales floor, to the back office, to the corporate office system using state-of-the-art security measures.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
There are no other requirements for customers who want ICI to configure hardware and software.
For those customers who prefer to host the ICI Virtual Line of eCommerce solutions, the site must have installed and operational all necessary supporting hardware and software at supported release levels (including network interfaces). Minimum software and hardware requirements include, but are not limited to the following:
- WindowsNT® 4.0 or Windows95 must be installed, configured and fully operational, including TCP/IP connectivity
- Sun® Solaris must be installed, configured and fully operational, including TCP/IP connectivity
- Availability of key client staff members to support the project as described above and as otherwise deemed necessary
- Availability of information concerning the client's systems, applications and network structures that completely and accurately reflects the status or conditions currently in effect and/or any future requirements
- Availability of and access to all project required computer systems, as well as logins and passwords with sufficient authority to accomplish the tasks described above
- Availability of any office services relevant to the delivery of these services (telephone, office supplies, copying capabilities, etc.)
ePOSS is a comprehensive point-of-sale electronic commerce solution that is quickly delivered to the sales floor using low-cost Internet communications. The ePOSS point-of-sale solution is a component of ICI's Virtual Line of electronic commerce products, including eBOSS, eCORP, eVEND, and eCOMM Web Sites that provide integration and sales management services. These services let our customers transition from legacy approaches to efficient low-cost methods for managing sales operations using secure Internet technologies.
