Technical Writer

  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in a dynamic environment developing software documentation, writing requirements-focused, information technology proposals, and developing functional/design specs
  • Experience with documentation/support applications, such as MS Office, FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat, Visio Professional, MS Project98, and RoboHelp
  • Experience in preparing and presenting technical information in various formats and media
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and focused on closure
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Communication, or in a technical field (candidates with technical degrees must demonstrate very strong language/writing skills and writing for various audiences)
  • Demonstrated capacity for self-directed, autonomous work within a team environment
  • Superior time management skills, multi-tasking abilities, and Web research skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
